Cheri (Dream Big Designs) has an awesome new kit today called Just Sassy. She got together with Scrap n pieces and they made a collab for you all. And the best part is---it is free, so go snag it up. I don't have a preview of scrap n pieces, but the kit will be free for only this week. You will get a part each day for the next 3 days, so make sure you stop by both of their blogs. I love the colors of this one, it just screams glam.

Warning LONG post today and a freebie or two
Good morning to you all. Today is December the 13th already. Goodness where is the month going? Only 3 more days until DD, SIL, and GS come to visit for 2 weeks. During that time I will probable not be on very much. I want to just visit with them, and of course spoil DGS. LOL I can't wait. Yesterday we went grocery shopping for meals and treats for while they are here. I love making Christmas candies, and need to get started on them. It makes my mouth water just thinking about them. I love this time of year. We are also going to be having a family get together while they are here and yesterday I counted and there will be 36 people for sure and possibly more. It makes for a house full but it is so fun to visit and see everyone. I just need to get the meal figured out so I can assign everyone something to bring. I also need to get my kitchen cleaned up, because yesterday after putting away all the perishables I just left everything else out on the bar, and a pile of cans on the floor. I was too tired yesterday to do anything with them, so tomorrow I will have to get it done. It is snowing now, and we are supposed to get 4-8 inches today. Actually it is more sleet than anything, and we have an inch of water on our patio. Mike just went out to scrape it off so we don't have an ice rink in the morning. I will be wearing my boots to church today. I am glad they are nice tall black ones. I am so ready for summer. I know it only started snowing a few weeks ago, but I really don't like the cold and wet. At least it is warmer now than a few weeks ago. That was a bitter cold that you couldn't get warm in. Oh well... I guess thats why they call it winter. Anyway, I have a few things to tell you today. First my dear friend Michelle of Crafty Scraps gave me an award. Because I am so busy at this time I will wait until the first of the year to put it up and follow the directions. Hope that is OK dear. But you do need to go over to her blog/forum. She is going to be doing a 12 days of Christmas and will be giving away lots of things. She has an awesome new kit out called Icy Blue Christmas and here is a little sneak peak. She is giving it away as well as some QP's and other stuff, so make sure you head on over to her blog to see all the things she has for free for you.
Then I have a couple of free QP's from a kit called Anniversary from Anna of Delicious Scraps. She always has free things on her blog, so you got to go check it out. She is an awesome designer and you really don't want to miss out on these. Also most of her kits are only $1 in her store, so this is something you don't want to miss. Here is a preview of the kit and then 2 qp's from me. Click here to dl the QP's. Hope you like them. Remember to go check out her blog, you won't be dissapointed :) I am finally getting around to scrapping DD & DSIL's wedding pics, and this kit worked so well. I recolored some of the elements, but the LO's turned out really cute I think. Hope DD & DSIL think so too. I know the LO's are in 12 x 12, and I use the 8 x 10 size, since I made a QP, in the 12 x 12 I decided to just add the pics so you can see them.

The next thing I have for you is a new kit in the Stuff to Scrap store from The Scrappy Kat. Katina has made this awesome new kit called Shop-a-holic. This is a darling kit and I just loved working with it. She also has some freebie things on her blog so go check them out as well. Don't forget to snag this huge kit at her store as well as the coordinating kit that De AKA Flower Scraps did as well. Here is a preview of the kit. Isn't it just darling? Go to her blog for some other goodies, and her store to get the kit. I know I have other things to tell you, but I need to go shower and get dressed, but I will try to get back today and tell you the rest of the things I have for you. You don't want to miss out on anything, so remember to check back tomorrow.

Freebie Kit This Week
The Scrappy Kat and JWDS got together and made this darling kit called Snowy Night. They will be giving a part of it away every day on their blogs. Pattern paper Monday, solid paper Tuesday, elements Wednesday, alphas on Thursday, so be sure to check back each day to get the rest of the kit. My DD and SIL went camping over Thanksgiving with SIL's parents. They went to Carlsbad NM. Glad it was them and not me. My idea of camping is a nice motel :) lol They had fun though, so I guess that's all that matters.
